From Bugs to Buddha

Does heaven belong
to creatures who suffer time
the least here on Earth?

Is the hierarchy
opposite of what we think —
humans the lowest?

Should we aspire
to be the most humble ones­­ —
in tune with Nature;

so in our next life
we will be one step closer
to Enlightenment?
