Sage advice. Inspired me to write this haiku:
Time’s a conundrum
We must embrace each moment
We can never hold

In a car accident at 15, I woke up to the realization time was a gift. I too struggled to move. My parents bought me prism glasses so I could read without lifting my head.
When we are stripped of all, we find what is truly important. And I do agree that the entire process is beautiful if we change our perception and let go of our expectations—learn for just be.
A great teacher of mine, Cora Brady, always reminded her class:
We are human beings
not human doings

Thank you for reminding us all.
