So sorry for your loss Alythia Brown. Beautiful story which has me in tears. I loss my dog last April and sobbed for weeks. I still catch myself tearing when I think of her which is often. I wrote a poem about her loss in Medium called Holding On to a Life played out in clips. Although the pain of losing them is intense, like you, I would adopt her all over again in less than a heartbeat. Sending you hugs.
