Thank you for writing this article. It is exhausting. If the world were more inclusive, we wouldn't be such a novelty, and people would know us as just us. Even 33 years after the passage of our civil rights law , the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we still have to fight for access and inclusion. It's time we all (disabled and non-disabled) paid attention to accessibility and started speaking up when there isn't any. This isn't just physical access, but web access, alternate ways to communicate, and signage for blind people, etc.
Here's novel idea, stop patronizing non-accessible businesses and hotels and the like. See how fast the world changes...
