What I’ve learned in life is that there are no rules when it comes to love. What you say may be true in your case. But my ex came back a few times. The last time we got married. That was 20 years ago and we are still devoted to each other and deeply in love.

Sometimes people need to figure out things. Sometimes they are scared of love. Sometimes they just need space to realize what is right. I think our gut knows when someone is truly working out something and when they are using us.

Any hard fast rule s? Not when the heart is involved.
