She’ll keep thinking everything is fine and then find herself dead months later. I looked up the toxin and its properties are perfect as it’s deadly and easily absorbed through the skin. Once she takes a shower the evidence is gone. It takes months to work. It also has a sweet smell.

I think you should keep going with this. Show us what happens as she’s slowly poisoned. Maybe she even redeems herself and her husband falls back in love with her and he then wants her to live.
